What’s an Agent Qualified Lead (AQL)?
An AQL is a lead that has been qualified through a real-time, substantive conversation with Docket — one that demonstrates genuine buying intent and readiness for a sales conversation. Unlike an MQL, which is scored on arbitrary behavioral signals (page views, email opens, form fills), an AQL represents someone who has actually engaged in dialogue, answered qualification questions, and been matched against your ICP criteria.

We believe the AQL is the future of B2B lead qualification. The MQL is a broken construct that has persisted because nothing better existed. Docket changes that.
What happens when Docket doesn’t know the answer?
Docket will transparently say it doesn’t know and offer to connect the visitor with a human. This is by design — in enterprise sales contexts, hallucinated or inaccurate answers destroy trust. We’d rather Docket say “let me get you a human” than make something up. This honesty is a core part of what makes Docket different from generic AI chatbots.
