Frequently Asked Questions

Will my data be safe?
Yes, your data is safe with Docket. We prioritize data privacy and security by adhering to the highest global standards, including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR certifications. With measures like data encryption, role-based access controls, and a strict policy against third-party data sharing, we ensure your information remains protected at all times.
Will my data be used to train Docket?
Docket will never use your data to train its models or enhance other customers’ answers. We are deeply committed to protecting your data and adhere to stringent data privacy and security standards.
Can I limit Docket’s access to select folders or channels within Google Drive or Slack?
Yes, you can give Docket access to just specific folders within Google Drive and specific channels within Slack. Your organization’s administrators have full control over what data Docket can access, and can add or remove Docket from channels, enable or disable automatic responses, or control user roles at any point in time. DocketAI will also delete corresponding data from channels that are no longer accessible.
What is your data retention policy?
Docket stores data securely and deletes it upon contract termination with the client.
How do you govern platform access?
Docket offers role-based access controls to restrict responses according to an organization's data access hierarchy, ensuring that data access is controlled correctly, especially in remote work environments.
Where can I learn more about your security?
You can check out how Docket keeps your data secure here.
Does Docket integrate with Salesforce, Gong, and other sales tools we use?
Docket integrates with over a 100 data sources to unify sales information and keep answers relevant, recent, and resonant. In the off chance that you’re using a product for which Docket does not have an out-of-the-box integration, our team can work with you to leverage Docket's API for setting up custom integrations.
How does Docket handle conflicting information from multiple sources and determine the accurate source of truth?
Docket's platform is designed to integrate various information sources into a single, unified knowledge graph. When it encounters conflicting data, it considers several factors to ensure the most accurate and relevant information is provided. Here are the key methods used by Docket to manage conflicting data:

‍Recency: Docket tracks the recency of each data element when it receives and stores it. During retrieval, newer data is weighed more heavily than older data, ensuring that the most up-to-date information is prioritized.

‍Frequency: The system checks how many times each answer has been presented in the past. It assumes that the true answer is likely to be the one presented more frequently, thus giving it higher weight.

‍Authority: Docket allows the designation of subject matter experts (SMEs) within its system, and answers from these trusted individuals are given more weight compared to others. Admins can also verify or edit answers to validate the accuracy of information, and verified answers are preferred over unverified accounts.

‍Explicit Call-Outs: If the system is still not able to verify answer accuracy based on these three criteria, it will explicitly call out the conflict during the answering process. This ensures transparency and allows users to make informed decisions.

These methods collectively help DocketAI to surface the most accurate and reliable information, even when conflicting data is present.
Is it built in a conversational way? What if I don't like an answer or want Docket to share answers in a specified format, like bullet points?
Yes, Docket is built in a conversational way. It allows users to interact with the system through natural language queries, making it intuitive and familiar. Users can ask Docket questions as they would to a coworker, and it will understand the question, find relevant insights, and respond with the best answers and references in the same thread. This conversational approach helps streamline interactions and makes critical information accessible in real-time within the digital channels users use day-to-day.

If you don't like an answer provided by Docket, you have the option to regenerate a new response. Additionally, if the provided answer does not meet your needs, you can rephrase the question using relevant keywords to get a better response.

You can also customize the format of the information by specifying your preference when asking questions. Docket is designed to adapt to your needs to provide the most useful and readable responses.
Can Docket learn from images and videos?
Docket can learn from images in documents and decks, and even highlights them as references when answering your questions. As for videos, Docket does not ingest videos at the moment, but we’re working on supporting this soon.
Will Docket hallucinate?
Maintaining credibility in sales calls is paramount, and AI, like humans, is not infallible. Docket is programmed to respond with 'I don’t know' when it lacks confidence, a feature that’s intentionally built-in. This approach minimizes the risk of the AI providing unverified information. Furthermore, all of Docket's responses are subject to human review, ensuring that the system is accountable and reliable.

The AI model is tailored for high precision, targeting nearly 95% accuracy and a maximum hallucination rate of 2.7%. This ensures that the information is highly reliable and minimizes the chances of generating incorrect or misleading information.
Do my sellers have to spend time learning how to use Docket effectively?
At the user level, Docket is easy-to-use and integrates seamlessly with existing collaboration tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams or can be accessed via web browsers. This allows sellers to get sales-ready responses, critical answers to complex queries, and other essential information directly within the tools they are already using. This ensures that reps can continue to work within their familiar environments without the need to learn a new tool.
How quickly can I get started with Docket?
Docket collects information from structured and unstructured sources across your company’s cloud ecosystem in just a few hours. The onboarding process for Docket takes less than five hours and does not require extensive tagging or other administrative tasks like many of the other sales enablement tools out there.
Does Docket replace sales engineers?
Docket is built to augment sales engineers. Your SEs’ time is expensive, and they shouldn’t have to waste their bandwidth towards repetitive tasks or projects that don’t involve late-stage prospects. Docket allows you to utilize your sales engineers for critical instances and bigger deals, while allowing reps to handle early stages themselves with complete confidence.
How can my sellers use or access Docket to get answers?
Docket can be accessed via Slack, Microsoft Teams, its web app, or the Chrome extension.
